When was that car not infuriatingly slow?

The “I work for a living” comment is a bit much. Something about wage stagnation would have been more appropriate.

I had one in college, it was a good off roader. I took her all the way into Canyon De Chelly with the required local guide, forded a river. Its speed was fine for an SUV. I wouldn’t mind a clean one now! Maybe down cylinders, it’s driveable but slow, narrows it down a bit I guess.

I think I’m with Bloody here, very expensive and still driving but low on power, maybe down some cylinders . This is a Car Talk question to debate for sure.
